Tour description :

The Eyre Peninsula is the hidden gem of South Australia. Protectively kept secret by locals but nonetheless tirelessly explored by South Australians and visitors from all over the globe.

You too can spend 2 unforgettable days in this most beautiful part of South Australia and, arguably, one of the most beautiful places in the world.

Day One: Your first day will combine two incredible experiences, starting with an up close and personal encounter swimming with the playful sea-lions that live in the crystal-clear waters. You may be fortunate enough to meet other local residents such as dolphins or even whales in the right season (footnote: whale season is between May to November). A breathtaking memory that be forever etched on your heart and soul*.

You will then visit Lincoln National Park that overlooks Boston Bay, the largest natural harbour in Australia. This magnificent Park is bordered by both stark granite headlands and secluded sandy coves. Once inside its boundaries you will discover some of the most exceptional flora and fauna. Just imagine the feeling of crossing paths with a kangaroo or emu with the sound of the Great Australian Bight surf roaring in the distance.

Day Two: On your second day you will visit Mikkira Station** and the best local oysteries. You will be introduced personally to the mysteries of this extraordinary profession by local oyster farmers. You will experience the exquisite and unique taste of oysters lifted straight from the sea and undoubtedly leave with a shared passion for this seafood delicacy and a deepened respect for the bounties of nature.

Only a few steps away lies Coffin Bay National Park. A national treasure with its never-ending sand-dunes and mind-blowing beaches.

At the end of Day 2 you have the choice to return in comfort and style to Adelaide reminiscing about your experiences. Or, if it is too hard to say goodbye, you could add an extra day to your itinerary to go cage diving with Great White Sharks or explore the Flinders Ranges. The choice is yours - as are the memories that will stay with you for a lifetime.
