The Fleurieu Peninsula is full of surprises. You will start your day by enjoying the breath-taking scenery offered by the Adelaide CBD, Hills and azure coastline. Then, in a local sanctuary, you will meet an array of native wildlife including kangaroos, koalas, wombats, cockatoos and many reptiles to name a few.
You will continue your journey along scenic roads to visit Port Elliott reaching its iconic obelisk in time for lunch on the exquisite beach of Horseshoe Bay. After lunch you will visit Victor Harbor with its vibrant atmosphere, especially during the season of whale migration.
Connected by a historic pedestrian bridge to the mainland, the little gem of Granite Island invites you to explore its hidden treasures found scattered along its dedicated sculpture trail. You will discover interesting facts about Aboriginal art and regional history.
To end this already perfect day you will journey to Deep Creek Conservation Park where a fantastic adventure awaits you in the heart of the South Australian wilderness. The sumptuous landscape here is characterised by a stunning blend of coastal cliffs, hills, streams, forests and gullies.
The final step of your journey could lead you either onward to experience Kangaroo Island or back to Adelaide - the choice is yours.
