Tour description :

An incredible 4 day 3 night experience that will take you from the renowned vineyards of Clare Valley to the threshold of the Australian outback and its fantastic national park - the Flinders Ranges.
The history of the Ranges began over 500 million years ago, as its outstanding geographical formations pay testimony to. The Edicara Hills on the North side are scattered with fossils from some of the oldest animals ever found in the world. Equally, this semi-desert region is characterised by abundant and extraordinary living flora and fauna. You will be guaranteed to spot kangaroos, wallabies, emus and other creatures at home in their natural habitat.
Escorted by a multilingual guide, you will hike accessible trails meandering through this unique bush landscape, allowing you to admire up close the breathtaking scenery at Alligators Gorges*, Arkaroo Rock and Wilpena Pound.
You will also experience the adventure of a 4 wheel drive excursion. Your driver will expertly navigate red dusty roads through the depths of cavernous gorges to the ridges of towering cliffs where you will achieve once in a lifetime views of remarkable sunsets that seem to last forever - perhaps the most recognised characteristic of the Flinders Ranges.
You will visit the Blinman Gold Mine, one of the most remote places in South Australia and be immersed in its unique history, traditions and culture.
If you feel bold why not organise a helicopter flight to gain a birds’ eye view of this breathtaking landscape.
If 4 days are not enough your tour coordinator can organise an extra day to the world renowned Barossa Valley where you can indulge in some of Australia’s most exceptional wines and expand your knowledge of the wine industry.
